Future Rounds: Health Career Expo

We are excited to announce the Future Rounds Health Careers Expo March 18 from 5-7 p.m. at the Kent Career Tech Center, designed for 7th-12th grade students and their families. Attendees will be able to explore a variety of health care careers through hands-on activities that are based on specific health event scenarios. They will be able to speak directly with local health care industry professionals. Students and their families will also learn about health career jobs, hiring processes, tuition assistance and career paths of various occupations.

As students arrive at the Expo, they will be provided with a flyer describing a patient who needs medical care. Each flyer describes typical ways to treat the patient. Students will use the cues on the flyer to move through the Expo and meet with healthcare providers to learn about the careers related to that care through an interactive exhibit.

Share this event with local 7-12 graders so they can explore the world of health care!
